Torture

Waking up early, alarm clock's my foe,

School's a daily grind, moving so slow.

First class, math problems swirling 'round,

Lost in equations, can't seem to be found.

History's up next, dates and names to know,

Trying to focus, it's a mental row.

Lunchtime's sweet relief, friends and food in sight,

But spilling water on my shirt, what a plight!

Afternoon drags on, eyes heavy with sleep,

English essays pile up, the struggle's deep.

Books scattered on my desk, a chaotic scene,

Tests and quizzes, is this hell?

I think so.

Last bell finally rings, I'm out in a flash,

Homework awaits, gotta make a mad dash.

School's a rollercoaster, every single day,

But hey, we make it through, in our own way!
