ICE CREAM

One sunny day, my parents came through,

With a treat in hand, something new.

Cotton candy ice cream, bright and fun,

I took a scoop, expecting to be won.

It was light and fluffy, pink and sweet,

A sugary rush, a quick little treat.

But as I tasted it, I felt a twist,

Something was missing—this flavor didn’t hit.

It was fun for a second, but too much in the end,

A burst of sugar that didn’t quite blend.

I needed something smooth, a classic delight,

A flavor that would truly feel just right.

So I looked at my parents, with a gentle sigh,

“Cotton candy’s cool, but it’s not my guy.

There’s one flavor that always wins the race,

Vanilla’s the GOAT, it takes first place.”

Vanilla’s smooth, like a soft embrace,

Rich and creamy, it’s got that grace.

No need for gimmicks, no need to show,

Just a scoop of vanilla, and I’m good to go.

It’s simple, it’s perfect, a flavor that’s true,

With every bite, it’s like something new.

Chocolate and strawberry may have their fame,

But vanilla’s the one that will always claim the name.

Cotton candy’s fun, it’s light and it’s sweet,

But when it comes to ice cream, vanilla can’t be beat.

It’s the king of the cone, the ruler of the bowl,

The flavor that fills both heart and soul.

So while I smiled at the cotton candy treat,

I knew it was vanilla that couldn’t be beat.

A classic flavor, a timeless embrace,

Vanilla’s the GOAT in this ice cream race
